    you don't buy tickets, you buy a skipass, and that gets you in. You can't buy those in advance, you can only get them when you get to Ischgl from the ticket offices at the bottom of the ski-lifts. If you book accommodation through the town website, you can also ask them to book a skipass for you. I'm going from London by train, but I'm going for a week cos I want to ski.

    DawnCr, they are probably getting paid squillions for it, the gig is paid for through the cost of the ski passes. It's like a Festival, the resort have an opening Festival and a closing festival, both have the music at the top of the mountain plus partying in the town after. It's not really as odd as it sounds. They've had a lot of big names play there. Elton John recent;y, and he doesn't come cheap. I think people should be encouraged that the guys are entering into the festival circuit again. They might come to a festival near you!

    This gig is a bit random isn't it? Anybody know why the guys are doing a one-off free gig? Seems a long way to come just for 1 night. I wonder if they're doing something for the royal wedding so just happen to be in the area.............we can always hope can't we?
