Brandon Flowers today announces his first UK solo tour. The Killers frontman, whose album, Flamingo follows this week’s Top 10 single, Crossfire, with a September 6th release, heads to the UK in mid-October, with dates starting at Glasgow 02 Academy on October 12th. Tickets for shows go on sale at 9am on Friday September 3rd , with pre-sale to members of the Killers fanclub, The Victims, on Wednesday 1st.
Looks like we are due an email tomorrow!

I reckon we will get an email about pre-sales sometime today. If you check on Tickmaster, the Glasgow date states fan club pre-sale 18:00 1st September. Nothing for the other dates though. Although, if you are with 02, you can get pre-sale tickets for the Academy dates on Thursday morning from 9am
I am a little disappointed to find that we didnt hear about these dates through the fan club first though.
I think it is disgraceful!

No worries, it was the same for me, I pre-ordered ages ago before the competition or deluxe edition was a available.
Cider - thanks for that, I've changed my order now. Hopefully they won't cock it up and I'll still be entered in the draw. The deluxe edition wasn't available when I ordered so I'm so glad you told me that...thank you :) :) :)
Tracey - you can buy the deluxe edition from HMV as well. HMV won't charge you for your purchase until they send it. You can cancel your existing pre-order and re-order the deluxe edition and still have a chance at the tickets.
Or if you would prefer the iTunes version, cancel your HMV order and enter the competition via post, though I'm not sure of the closing date for the competition, so you may not have time to enter by post now.
A bit peeved that I ordered it on HMV for a chance to win tickets and now find that there's a deluxe edition with extra songs on it available from itunes......I really don't have that much money to burn, I think record companies should be ashamed of themselves!

Feeling hard done by - no instant download for Swallow, and no date (as yet) for a UK gig. Have pre-ordered anyway in the hope of some just reward!

Yup, looks like it's only US and Canada. But I preordered on iTunes anyway because there's an iTunes pre-order only version of On The Floor on it.
There's a regular version, and a deluxe version with four extra tracks and the Crossfire video.
Swallow it is also available with the preorder on i-tunes Canada - embarassingly enough that's how I ended up with two copies of the single - oh well there's no other artist I'd prefer to support ;)
On the Belgian itunes store, I know you can pre-order both versions: deluxe or regular edition but I don't think we get "swallow it" instantly... Just for the US I guess!
Wait - there are two versions of "Flamingo". I am very confused.
