    No harm in voting.

I also tried to find a contact for the NME Magazine, but they don't have an e-mail or info line. Probably best to call one of the editors for NME Magazine or NME.com listed in the "Contact Us" section http://www.nme.com/contact

The only contact I can find on NME is for job applications.

I don't know whether I should vote or not!

Yeah, you'd think they would make it more clear that voting is not ongoing for this as I'm sure we're not the only one's doing it!

I better let the guys over at Twiiter know about this -- which is where I found the link to vote.

I can't understand why we're allowed to vote! Surely it should state ' voting now closed' as the recent votes did on NME.

    Thanks for the link JolaM.

I'll check out the NME site -- try the ' contact us ' link -- see if we can get some sort of confirmation on his.

I really hate to dissapoint, but this poll is over, despite the voting page still avaialble on the NME's website. The Nov 24, 2009 issue of the NME magazine featured the 25 Best Rock Stars of the Decade.

"This week's magazine follows 72 hours in the life of Florence And The Machine in New York and takes a look at the 25 greatest rock stars of the decade." http://www.nme.com/magazine?blog=8&page=1&paged=3

I will try to get my hands on that issue. But from what I recall, Brandon was not listed at #1.

Looking back at NME (25/11/09) front cover online it says review not results. With that and the fact we can still vote it must be ongoing...back to the voting board. It would be nice to know when it closes if anyone knows.

Re: Rock Star of the Decade voting

I may be wrong, but I think this voting contest is old and related to the last decade (years 2000-2009). The results of that poll were announced in the November 24, 2009 issue of the NME magazine (which was on sale on Wednesday, November 25, 2009, as indicated in the advert right under the voting stars). Here is the link to that issue's summary

    http://www.nme.com/blog/index.php?blog=8&title=this_week_s_nme_6&more=1&c=1&tb=1&pb=1

I remember seeing this NME magazine and the results of the poll, but simply can't recall how Brandon placed.

Lets keep on plugging away at the rockstar award, Brandon is way out front, where he belongs. This award is a far better achievement than hottest male anyway.....and bellamy has slipped back in to 4th ha ha ha!!

Damn, that's such a shame. I had a feeling that bellamy would win but I thought the DVD would get it for sure. What won that?

    It is a real shame!

    Not to worry!

It's pretty clear The Killers dominate the past decade of music. Not just from my biased point of view, but from music lovers in general!

They shall continue to do so.
